We have somewhat coded a patch and implemented it, currently most videos are supported using our tool.
There will be some videos that display errors during conversion, we’re working towards fixing this today or tomorrow

So YouTube have changed something their end again… we are working quickly to try and fix this. We believe most YouTube conversion sites (if not all) are experiencing errors recently due to YouTube making a lot of changes to the backend of their site.

We are aware of some issues that have arisen today.
We are working quickly to fix all conversion bugs, it seems YouTube have changed something yet again and people are getting the wrong video after conversion. We’re working quickly on fixing this and everything should be working again by tomorrow.
We have also redesigned the login and register pages, these pages are not functioning properly in Internet Explorer, we are also working on getting this fixed asap too so everything is working on all browsers.

We’ve known for some time that downloading songs from myspace profiles has been “non-functional”.
We are aware that most other sites that provided this type of service are also in the same ship as us.
We are working quickly to try and code a patch for this, we will update you when we have made some progress.
Instead of prompting the survey each time a guest tries to convert a video, we have made some changes.
In the past, when a guest converted three videos, they were prompted to register as a member.
Instead of this, after converting three videos they are shown the survey advertisement instead.. this will provide some revenue and urge people to join as a member to avoid the survey and it will also allow guests to test our tool three times before having to complete any advertisement or register on our site.

In response to yesterdays post about the fatal errors occuring, we have coded a patch to fix this.
I am testing this out for bugs as we speak and will hopefully be launching the patch live tomorrow.
This means that all fatal errors, etc will be fixed and download & conversion will be back to normal, 100% functional once again.

We are aware of this situation and are working hard to resolve it as soon as possible.
The error is not in our code, it is actually an error on YouTubes behalf, they’re not parsing the correct parameters to our conversion tool, hence the errors you are seeing.
We are working quickly on a patch to fix this and eliminate any errors in the future, we will update you when this has been implemented.
Most videos will convert perfectly with out no error occuring, just a select few are having difficulties.

We have just created a paypal donation button as many people have requested a way to donate some money to our site in the past.
Our site is a free service, we do not earn any revenue from Gazzump and expenses exceed $2,300 USD monthly – not to mention all of the hours I put in
If you wish to help us out by donating any amount of money, please use the button at the bottom of this post. The site has been growing very quickly lately and server upgrades and changes have had to be made. Unfortunately, none of this is free and all of this comes out of my own pocket.
Any amount donated would be greatly appreciated, if things keep growing and expenses get too high for us to service ourselves, we may have to think about turning towards paid advertisements or a “pay-to-use” area of the site. I do not want to turn to this but it is the only alternative if the site keeps growing and no revenue is being made.
If money was being earnt from Gazzump, I wouldn’t need to work on other revenue based projects – meaning updates, new features, fixes, etc will all be fixed quicker.

Well, first off – Welcome to Gazzump.
It has been a long process moving Farkie over to the new name, a lot of edits had to be made and a lot of care had to be taken to ensure no data or accounts were lost in the transfer.
We have transferred everything safely, we are still working on narrowing out a few bugs but these will be fixed as soon as possible so please have some patience.
